Elisabeth Standish grew up in beautiful Alberta Canada and moved to Ontario in 2007. After dedicating a decade of service with the Canadian Armed Forces and having children, she picked up a paintbrush in 2019 while in Australia. Painting became a way to explore her love of colour, abstract and landscapes, and to share that love with her friends.
Elisabeth is inspired chiefly by landscapes: the poetic movement of trees and the serenity of water. Elisabeth pours her passion into creating evocative pieces that capture the natural world.
Elisabeth became an active member of the Artists of Stonebridge in 2022. She became the social media admin for the group and is involved with the Art Exhibits, shows and auctions benefiting local charities.
